Antique Hats
I've been on a hat kick lately, collecting almost too many for my studio walls to hold. These illustrations are of Parisian hats from 1914 and 1912. They are so tiny and delicate, I just want to cut them out and paste them on everything.

it's funny how hats don't have nearly as much of a place in people's outfits today as they used to. i have a quite a lot of berets and a few other hats, but i don't wear them nearly as often as i would just go hatless. but these are beautiful, imagine if we could get away with wearing hats like those every day!
